Cecil B. DeMille’s The Greatest Show on Earth because of the scenes that show the logistics of the Ringling Bros and Barnum & Bailey Circus in the 1950s.

Bound By Flesh, the recent documentary on Daisy and Violet Hilton. It's not a perfect documentary, but the research is outstanding. (You can currently rent it on Amazon Prime Video)

I enjoyed The Greatest Show on Earth the most. But I also enjoyed Toby Tyler. I own both.

World's Greatest Showmen and A Circus Life because I was in them LOL. I love GSOE because I love seeing the show and people I knew. However, RBBB did not have enough canvas for Heston and Hutton to chew.

The Greatest Show on Earth as a documentary of RBBB at the height of their glory.

Water For Elephants as a drama of circus life in the early years of the depression.  Sara Gruen's research for the book is great.

I need to relook some of Burt Lancaster's work ...
