Post a Topic:
Note: CHS Members must be logged into the CHS Back Yard site in order to create a topic.
Before you create a new topic, conduct a quick search to see if your topic already exists. If it exists, please reply to the existing thread.
To start a new discussion, click CREATE TOPIC. Complete the subject line and enter comments in the body section. Members can also attach images. Click Post when you are done. Note that, unless you checked "Show profile to others" in the privacy settings on your Member Profile, your identity will read "Anonymous."
Note: Only CHS members can create a new topic. Although non-members cannot create a new topic, they can view and reply to existing topics. They can also start a new discussion by entering their question or comment in the General Questions thread.
Reply to an Existing Topic
To respond to a post, click Reply, enter your comment, and click Post. CHS members and non-members can reply to existing topics.
Search
To view previous discussions, scroll down the Topics list. To search for a specific term, enter a word in the Search box at the very top of this page.
Subscribe to a Topic
CHS members can subscribe to a topic and receive an e-mail when someone responds. Click the topic of interest and then “Subscribe to topic.”
Rules for Discussions
Please be respectful to everyone in your discussions. We have members who have been studying circus history for decades and folks who are brand new to the topic. Political posts and merchandise advertisements are not permitted. Administrators have the right to remove content that does not meet these standards.
